Pres. Duterte Reveals Ramos as the Source of Narco-Politics List which Include Sen. De Lima

The first-ever President from Mindanao, Pres. Rody Duterte revealed during an interview with national and international media that former Philippine President Fidel Valdez Ramos (FVR) was the source of the list of names of government personalities allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade in the country.

During the speech of Pres. Duterte he revealed that the former Philippine President FVR visited him in Davao City a total of four times. During those visits FVR tried to convince the former Mayor of Davao City to run for President. 

Pres. Rody Duterte noted that during the first meeting between Pres. Ramos and Mayor Duterte, the veteran politician and former military man FVR told Duterte that it was that he ran for office so that Mindanao will have its own President.

In the second meeting between Pres. Rody Duterte and former President Ramos, the former West Point graduate showed Duterte  a list of narco-politicians.

"The second time, he was strongly urging me to run. Sabi niya, 'ikaw lang ang makapigil nito kung papano.' Then he showed me a list ng mga-nandoon na, mga generals-sa droga. Pati pulis, gano'n kakapal, hindi ko pa binitawan 'yung iba kasi vina-validate ko pa,"

Pres. Duterte admitted that during the second meeting with former President FVR, he admitted that he was hesiant to run because he is afaid he doesn't have enough funds but he said Ramos was insistent.

"Sabi niya (Ramos): No. If you keep on refusing, this country will go to the dogs." Pinakita niya, what can you do with this? Sabi ko, nakita ko mga generals, gano'n. Hindi naman akin 'yun. Pati yung kay De Lima, hindi yun akin,"
