Mocha Uson Fires Back at Anti-Duterte Supporters Blaming Sen. De Lima for their NBP Concert

Mocha Uson made a very impressive counter statement on social media after some Anti-Duterte supporters linked the popular girl group to the illegal activities in Bilibid where they held a show during the Aquino administration.

During House of Representative probe regarding the illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP), one of the witnesses presented by the Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed that there were celebrity concerts, beers and models inside the national penitentiary.

One of those mentioned by the witness is the girl group Mocha Girls headed by Mocha Uson. The news of Mocha Uson's involvement with the activities inside the NBP made some anti-Duterte supporters speculating on the group's alleged involvement in the rampant drug trade inside the NBP.

In order to defend their side, Mocha Uson explains through their official social media account that the transactions was clean and done in good faith, she said that it was BuCor officials who requested their performance and they accepted it.

"Totoo po na noong late 2012 or early 2013 kami po ay nagperform sa Bilibid. Marami pong nag perform doon sa event na yun. Ito po ay pormal na concert na dumaan po sa tamang proseso. Marami pong mga artista na nagsho-show dun at nagbibigay pag-asa sa mga bilanggo. Sa tingin ko naman po walang masama kung ito ay PORMAL na nanggalaing sa opisyal ng BUCOR."

Mocha Uson reiterates further that the all-girl group Mocha Girls is involved in different charity works and one of those are their performance to inmates in Bilibid. She also claims that ANTI-DUTERTE and "Dilaw" are the ones making a big issue out of it and reiterates their solid support to Pres. Rody Duterte.

Mocha added further they are not ashamed of what they did because they did it legally and due process, she said that the officials of BUCOR is to blame for the mess because they allowed such acts inside the NBP maximum security prison.

"Ang nakakapagtaka lang ay bakit kami lang ang idinidiin at binibigyan ng kula. Una sa lahat, hindi ko po kinakahiya iyon bakit? Tulad ng aking sinabi, walang masama kung ito ay dumaan sa tamang paraan. And fro argument's sake, kung bawala pala iyon hindi dapat ang mga Artista or Entertainer and sisihin dapat ang pamunuan ng BUCOR at dating SEC DE LIMA dahil sila ang nag issue ng kaukulang permit upang makapag concert sa loob."
