Former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada Disappointed on Sen. De Lima Taking Refuge at the Senate

Former Senator and one of the controversial lawmaker who was arrested during the Aquino administration, Jinggoy Estrada expressed his disappointment to Sen. Leila De Lima on his social media account on Friday.

The former senator criticized Sen. De Lima for allegedly seeking refuge in the Philippine Senate to delay the arresting officers, the PNP-CIDG who would serve the arrest warant and demading where she wanted to be jailed.

In the official Facebook Page of Jinggoy Estrada he wrote: "Why do you have to seek refuge in the Senate? We never sought for refuge when you had us arrested!!" Estrada wrote.

“Who are you to demand where you want to be jailed? We never did that during your time!!” he added.

The former Presidential son, Jinggoy Estrada also told Sen. De Lima that he voluntarily surrendered and went to Camp Crame even before the warrant of arrest for them was issued and asked her why she can't do the same.

Estrada noted on his post that "We surrendered even before the warrant of arrest was served. We went to Crame immediately. Can’t you do the same? SHAME ON YOU” Estrada wrote.

During the arrest of former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, he voluntarily surrendered to his father, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada before the warrant was served to him. He is currently detained at Camp Crame Detention Center together with his close friend and former Sen. Bong Revilla Jr.

The former Justice Secretary now Senator De Lima is expected to be detained in the same place but De Lima demanded to be detained at the AFP Custodial Center because she trusted the military than the cops.
