JV Ejercito Estrada Blasts Yellow Army for Insensitive Post on Davao Bombing

Former San Juan City Mayor JV Ejercito Estrada defended President Rody Duterte who became the target of constant attack by the so-called Yellow Army who instead of praying for Davao because of the incident decided to nitpick the President over the deadly blast in his hometown on Friday night.



The so-called Yellow Army were people on social media who supported the candidacy of defeated presidential candidate Mar Roxas who keeps on posting negative statements against Pres. Duterte on social media.

One of the Yellow Army member who blasted the President on his social media account is he singer and ex-presidential assistant Leah Navarro who posted several anti-Duterte entries on her Twitter account.

Leah Navarro questioned President Duterte's act of declaring a state of lawlessness. The prominent celebrity who is known supporter of the Aquino administration also reposted similar anti-Duterte tweets on her timeline.

The online warriors allegedly belong to Mar Roxas supporters also engaged Sen. JV Ejercito in a brief word war, prompting the lawmaker to post a tweet about it. JV Ejercito tweeted "Activ pa rin mga yellow army to attack given the situation. Tsk.. Tsk.."

JV Ejercito added further that "Mga yellow army ba may hepatitis o jaundice? Di niyo kaya maging color blind kahit may trahedya na? Kailanga upak pa rin?"

The senator also called for unity among Filipinos but he also tweeted his disappointment and just offered prayers for all. "While everyone is calling for unity and offer prayers for Davao, the others continue to attack social media. Let us pray for them as well," Ejercito said.
