Bureau of Customs Under Commissioner Faeldon Installed 94 Cameras for Transparency

The Philippines most corrupt and graft-ridden agency, the Bureau of Customs will change for the better under the administration of President Rody Duterte after its head, Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon announced on national media that they already installed 94 cameras for transparency operations of the bureau.

As of now the BOC already installed and made operational a total of 40 cameras inside the Customs building and the public could now view what's really happening inside and what the employees are doing in real-time.

The 40 already instaled cameras will be added with another 54 cameras which are set to install but not redy for the livestream. The remaining cameras will be put in some areas like Port of Manila, Manila International Container Terminal and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

According to the Bureau of Customs the cameras are controlled by the Bureau's CCTV command center including in the BOC's main building as well as the Commissioner's Office of the former rebel soldier Nicanor Faeldon, the arch-enemy of Sen. Antonio Trillanes during the 2016 national elections.

In a separate report posted by Inquirer, the livestream of the Bureau of Customs cameras can be accessed by anyone through its public IP addess at 119.82.124.28 which is availablein smartphones and computers with internet access.

Right now the BOC noted that the system allows just 10 users only to login with username guest 1 and with password: password123.

The Bureau of Customs also noted that the Management Information System of BOC promied that all cameras of the department will start working in the next few days and they will do everything so that the bandwidth will increase to enable more people to watch the livestream videos of the BOC.
