Pres. Aquino to Visit Davao City But No Meeting with Mayor Duterte

The outgoing president of the Republic of the Philippines, President Benigno S. Aquino III is scheduled to visit Davao City today, May 18, 2016 but according to the camps of Mayor Rody Duterte there is no scheduled meeting with the presumptive president. 

President Aquino will be attending the National Launching Ceremony of the Expanded Senior Citizen Immunization Program to be held at the SMX Convention Center in Lanang. The schedule appearance of Pres. Aquino is scheduled at around 9:00 to 11:00 AM. 

Accompanying the outgoing president is Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Garin. The camps of Mayor Duterte revealed to the media that they have not received any request from the Office of the President for a meeting on Wednesday with Pres. PNoy. 

President-elect Mayor Rody Duterte of Davao City on his part is set to meet with another diplomat, the Russian Ambassador to the Philippines Igor Anatolyevich Khoyaev today, May 18, 2016.
