SONA 2016 Attires: No More Fashion Shows (Viral Photos)

The highly anticipated SONA 2016 of President Rodrigo Duterte is no longer a fashion show as the traditional grand red carpet fashion show by members of the Congress and their spouses was already discarded as what most Filipinos usually witness during the previous administrations.

In an interview with the media, Department of Finance spokesperson Paola Alvarez revealed that the dress code for President Rody Duterte's SONA will be simple "business attire."

According to the announcement made by Malacanang they want to center on what the President's message is to our people, and it will not be a fashion show.

The organizers of the first-ever SONA of Pres. Duterte advised that all females guests not to wear long gowns, but they will be allowed to wear Filipiniana attire.
