Pres. Duterte Got a Surprising Support from Kris Aquino

Supporters of Pres. Rody Duterte were surprised with the recent pronouncements made by one of the country's most influential showbiz figure, Kris Aquino who defends the first President from Mindanao when asked about her reactions with the recent administration.

When Kris Aquino was asked by some reporters about her comments or standpoint on the state of Pres. Rody Duterte's leadership. The actress was quoted as saying "If my brother is respectful enough to want to given this administration a chance to succeed, why won't I do the same? Siyempre there will be missteps. Hindi naman lahat kakampi mo. Pero ako, gusto ko na mag-succeed."

According to the former presidential sister, she emphathizes wih Pres. Rody Duterte because her brother, former Pres. Noynoy Aquino was also a victim of criticisms during his term as President of the Philippines.

Kris Aquino also spoke against some netizens who tagged the supporters of Pres. Duterte as "Dutertards," because she is so sensetive with the terms. She was quoted as saying "Number one, I resent calling anyone 'tards. Kasi I have a special child, so I'm sensitive to that, even if it's a term that is being used widely," Kris explained.

Aside from defending the former Davao City Mayor, the actress Kris Aquino also mentioned that the current president should be given credit with his achievements and good deeds as a leader.
