Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos Distributes Relief Goods to Bagyong Lawin Victim But Media Did Not Take Notice

The governor of Ilocos Norte and daughter of former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Gov. Imee Marcos distributes relief goods from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as well as relief goods from the LGU of the province.

Although Gov. Imee Marcos is visible in various areas devastated by Super Typhoon Lawin, no national media took notice of her performance because nobody reported it on a national scale but because of social media, most Filipinos now learned that the Marcos families and the Duterte administration is working together to provide and various assistance to victims of Bagyong Lawin.

A viral video is currently circulating online showing how the Ilocos Norte governor worked hard to deliver the much-needed assistance to the victims of the newest tropical disturbance to hit the country.

Facebook users and concerned netizens took to Facebook to share their appreciation with Gov. Imee Marcos after they saw how the daughter of the former President worked hard for the victims of the super typhoon.

Gov. Imee Marcos was also one of the few Local Government Unit (LGU) officials who greeted Pres. Duterte during his visit to areas devastated by Bagyong Lawin.
