Sen. De Lima's Interrogation Backfires When Gen. Bato Dela Rosa Answer Brilliantly

Newly-elected Senator of the Republic of the Philippines who is also well known on social media as the most controversial lawmaker, Sen. Leila De Lima headed the Senate investigation on extra-judicial killings but her interrogation with the PNP Chief backfired.

Sen. De Lima's statement during the second day of Senate hearing of the alleged "extra judicial killings," seems backfired after the PNP Chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa hit her for not deploying the Special Action Force (SAF) inside the New Bilibid Prison.

The topic then shifted from the hearing topic into drug transactions in Bilibid when Sen. De Lima asked Gen. Bato to confirm if the illegal drug transactions inside the prison is still happening.

During the time when the PNP Chief was answering, Sen. De Lima kept on interrupting and bragged about her supposed achievements as DOJ Secretary particularly the raid last December 20114.

The nationwide telecast by various news media organizations as well as on social media, netizens were quick to react and commended the brilliant response of Gen. Bato Dela Rosa during the Senate hearing.
