Jim Paredes Slams Duterte's Decision to Hold Separate Inauguration

A well-known Anti-Duterte showbiz personality Jim Paredes expressed his frustrations on social media after the news broke out that there will be a separate inauguration ceremony for President-elect Rody Dutere and the incoming Vice President Leni Robredo. Although the Duterte administration explains that the wanted to have a simple yet meaningful inauguration, Jim Paredes couldn't understand the situation very well.

According to Special Assistant to Pres. Duterte, Bong Go, the joint inauguration will restrict Mrs. Robredo to invite more friends and supporters to celebrated her victory but the APO singer reasoned out on Twitter as he favored VP Leni Robredo.

Mayor Duterte already announced to the media that his inauguration as President will be modest and simple and will be held inside Malacanang unlike Robredo who is still looking for a grand venue to accommodate her supporters. The incoming Vice President already announced that she will take her oath with the poorest and farthest Barangay Captain but her transition team are still finding a suitable venue.

Some netizens even commented on Facebook that VP Leni's oath taking with the poorest Brgy. Captain is just a show off that she is a pro-poor but in reality her inauguration will surely costs millions of taxpayer's money.
