1. The "External Debt" is the amount of debt a country owes to foreign or international creditors.

The debtors can be the government, corporations or citizens of that country. The estimated Philippines foreign debt under the Aquino administration in early 2016 is $77,658,912,000 (US$77.659 billion).

Aside from the External Debt, the Philippines had Public Debt, which is the total amount of debt a central government or country owes. If is also known as the National Debt.

The Philippines received a total P73.31 billion from various international organizations including country's who pledged financial support to the Philippines for the recovery projects of those victims of the Yolanda disasters.

The Yolanda donations by various national government is still unaccounted for by the Aquino administration, there is still doubt if the said amount will be revealed to the public unless Mayor Duterte wins the presidency.

Despite the presence of the billions of Yolanda Funds donated by various national governments and other NGO's the Philippines under the Aquino administration still managed to get a Rehabilitation Loan worth $500 million from the WorldBank.

The above-mentioned controversies under the Aquino administration should be answered once Mayor Duterte marches to Malacanang after the highly anticipated May 9, 2016 national elections.
