First Time in Philippine History: 4 of the 5 Highest Officials are from Mindanao

The people of Mindanao are very proud of their leaders who are now seating as the country's highest officials. For the very first time in the history of the Philippines, four (4) of the five (5) highest officials came from Mindanao.

In an unexpected turned of events, the Filipino people witness one of the most important moments in Philippine history wherein the three leaders of the different branches of government traced their roots from Mindanao.

Based upon the Philippine history, those leaders who traced their roots from Mindanao were also known to have Visayan blood.

The Visayan and the people of Mindanao were so proud not only because of President Rodrigo Duterte who was elected overwhelmingly by more than 16 million Filipinos, the leaders of the Legislative and Judiciary also came from Mindanao.

Pres. Rody Duterte is the former mayor of Davao City and hails from the province of Cebu and Leyte.

In the Legislative Department, Senate President Aquilino "Koko" de la Llana Pimentel III hails from Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.

The House Speaker of the 17th Congress, Rep. Pantaleon Diaz Alvarez came from Davao del Norte.

In the Judiciary, Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Punzalan Aranal Sereno is the daughter of Margarito Aranal a native of Siasi, Sulu while the husband of the chief justice, Mario Jose Sereno is from Davao City.

This is indeed a perfect timing for peace in the Philippines. Let our southern brethren rule this land and may it prosper under the pastoral care of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
