P39-Billion Davao Port Project Approved by Mayor Rody Duterte

The outgoing Mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has finally approved and gave the go signal to start the highly anticipated mega project in Davao City, the Davao City Coastline and Port Development Project.

Pres. Duterte signed as Mayor of Davao City the Joint Venture Agreement between the city government and its developer Mega Harbour Port Development Corporation as both camp agreed to work with the mega project.

The Joint Venture Agreement was signed by Mayor Rody Duterte at SMX Convention Center in SM City Davao to represent the city government. The JVA was signed by representatives of the developer Mega Harbour Port Development Corp. and the City of Davao.

The port development projects covers from Bucana to R. Castillo coastline in the country's largest city in terms of land area, Davao City. Based upon the joint agreement the reclamation project will be a mixed industrial, commercial and government centers which has a target completion date on 2019.
