Since the media were barred from entering the Victory Party of President Rody Duterte held in Cebu City on Wednesday night, the social media were used by the supporters and organizers of the said event to publish the full speech of the President.

During the Victory Party of Pres. Rody Duterte held at the Cebu Country Club, both local and national-based journalists were blocked from entering venue. The thanksgiving party organized by "Bisaya na Pud Movement" was attended by more than 200 guests who supported the candidacy of Mayor Rody Duterte.

The thanksgiving party was dubbed by the organizers as "Bisaya na Gyud!" which also featured some invited guests who performed before the highly anticipated speech of the incoming President Rody Duterte.

According the camps of Mayor Duterte the decision of the Presidential Security Group not to allow the national media except the state-owned PTV channel 4 from covering the event is in line with Pres. Duterte's statement that he will boycott the media until the end of his term.
