Religious Leaders & Groups Endorsing Mayor Duterte for President

Some of the country's most prominent religious leaders and religious groups showed their support to the next president of the Philippines as they endorsed Mayor Rodrigo Duterte in tomorrow's national elections. The religious group INC and Kingdom of Jesus Christ headed by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy openly campaign for Mayor Duterte.

The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) Church which has more than 1.8 million registered voters endorsed Mayor Duterte for President after their leaders issued an official statement and released a sample ballot endorsing Mayor Duterte.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC), one of the most dominant religious group in Mindanao particularly in Davao City which also claimed having more than 8 million members worldwide promised to produce at least 1 million Filipino votes for Mayor Duterte.

Aside from INC, thousands of Evangelical and Born-Again Christian Pastors nationwide announced their support to Mayor Duterte during a gathering at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

There are reports online that former presidential candidate and JIL leader Eddie Villanueva supported the candidacy of Mayor Rody Duterte.
