The festival in Kerala took an unexpected turn of event when the decorated elephant named Devidasan went on a rampage, destroying several parked vehicles in quick succession.

According to a local news in Kerala State of India, the elephant was participating in a temple festival in Kerala's Palakkad district but the huge mammal broke free from his leash.

The two caretakers of the elephant who were riding at the elephant's back tried to calm down the mamoth animal but to no avail.

Devidasan, the elephant quickly demolished a motorbike, an auto rick saw and a small truck with its trunk. According to authorities, there was no one injure during the incident, but it took several hours to pacify the elephant.
